Well done to Howie for a great resource

Just upgraded a aged and hacked RAQ3 into something usefull. Once you have completed the install its just like a normal RAQ550, except the front panel buttons don't work.

Couple of points:
My USB keyboard didn't work with HyperTerm (beware!)

If you did a CMOS reset, make sure the system date is updated, before installing Bluequartz - otherwise the rpm moans about dates in the future.

I installed Centos3.7 which already has the gd-1.8.4-12.3.1.i386.rpm installed.
